Most children will make mistakes with their speech sounds when they are learning to talk. Different sounds develop at different ages across their early developmental years.

Some of these errors may resolve themselves while other errors may continue.

At Kids Speak, play is our philosophy.. we love to play! Your child’s play skills are an integral part of their development. Play is not only critical to happiness, but also to a child’s ability to learn new things, and maintain social interactions and relationships. 

Play develops a child’s thinking skills, problem solving skills, language skills and early social skills. 

If your child does not use verbal communication to communicate, or is difficult to understand when they do talk, an AAC system may be beneficial for them to use to communicate more clearly & consistently.

Kids Speak has extensive experience in trialling, implementing & prescribing AAC systems with clients & their families. We are able to support you & your child through this process in order to find their voice. We love being such an integral part of this journey!

​Kids Speak can support children who are picky or fussy eaters. This can be stressful for both the child and the family. With intervention, we can help to increase the variety and/or volume of foods they consume related to sensory difficulties and/or chewing difficulties.
