ADOS 2 Assessments
The Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule Second Edition (ADOS 2) is a semi structured standardised assessment tool used as part of the investigation and diagnostic process of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). It is currently considered the gold standard in the assessment of ASD. The ADOS assessment can only be administered by a health professional who has completed the Advanced ADOS 2 training course.
Our ADOS Assessment Process

Initial Appointment (parent only)
60 minute comprehensive case history consultation with parent/carer via phone or video conference.

Assessment Administration Session
60 minute session with child and parent where the ADOS assessment is administered.

Comprehensive Assessment Report
A comprehensive assessment report is written by the therapist (approximately 2-3 hours).

Clinical Observation Session
60 minute clinical observation session with child and parent/carer.

Assessment Coding & Analysis
60 minute indirect session where coding, analysis and interpretation of the assessment occurs.

Parent Feedback Session
60 minute parent only feedback session based on the assessment and the comprehensive report.

All consultations are 60 minutes in duration (50 minutes direct & 10 mins of indirect documentation).
